Judith composes a painting as it would be seen through a camera's lens. She then uses the technique of cropping to view the subject "close up." By wrapping the painting around the sides of the deeply stretched canvas, she creates a three-dimensional effect. Her close-up, cropped versions of nature bring it closer to the viewer's eye. Judith works on a variety of different nature-related scenes including seascapes, close-ups of flowers and leaves, seashells, and sunflowers.
